EMPOWERMENT RETREAT FOR THE WIDOWS
Atma Darshan in collaboration with Hope and Life movement of Mumbai diocese held a weekend retreat for the widows at Atma Darshan with the theme “Joy of Living” from 10 to 12 November 2017. Forty nine widows from over 12 parishes of Mumbai participated in this retreat and returned home with more hope and confidence to live their widowed state of life. It was a great experience for many of them to be together in this beautiful place to reflect, pray and to listen to the various talks delivered by Mrs. Lorna D’ Souza and the Atma Darshan Fathers. Mrs. Maryanne led the participants in the liturgical singing. The retreatants commented that they enjoyed every aspect of the retreat and are now looking forward to return next year
